Why did AlFajr Learning move from group classes to one-on-one live sessions?
In the past, our live classes were delivered in small groups, with each subject meeting twice a week. While this model worked for some students, we found that many were not getting the full benefit of their learning time. In group settings, it was common for students to lose focus, participate less, or even get distracted by other activities.
Starting this year, we’ve transitioned to personalized one-on-one sessions. This allows every student to receive the teacher’s full attention, stay engaged throughout the lesson, and benefit from tailored instruction at their own pace. The result is stronger collaboration, deeper understanding, and more meaningful progress.
To continue supporting families, we’ve also kept our tuition rates the same—so students can enjoy the advantages of personalized learning without any increase in fees.
What are the program options?
- Live Program (weekly one-on-one sessions)
- Self-Paced with Instructor Support
- Independent Bundle (no live sessions or support, starting late 2026)
Is the curriculum aligned with standards?
Yes, our courses follow the Ontario curriculum and are suitable for students across North America.
Will my child receive a certificate?
Yes, a completion certificate is awarded at the end of the full program.
How long does it take to complete the program?
Most students finish in 7–9 months.
Can my child join the program at any time of the year?
Yes! Since our live sessions are one-on-one, students can begin at any time that works best for your family. There’s no need to wait for a new term to start. For families choosing the interactive self-paced option (without live sessions), enrollment is also open year-round. In both cases, students have up to 10 months to complete the full program at their own pace.
Do you offer a discount for siblings?
Yes! Families enrolling more than one child will receive a 10% discount for each additional student. To apply the discount, parents must contact us at admin@alfajrhomeschool.com before completing enrollment.
